Valencia CF support Aldaia candidacy for UNESCO Creative City

The municipal area is renowned for its arts and crafts

Valencia CF support the candidacy of Aldaia as UNESCO Creative City in the field of Handicrafts and Popular Art, with the ‘Aldaia Ciudad Creativa de la Artesanía del Palmito’ project.

Club president Anil Murthy sent a recommendation to the Spanish National Committee for Cooperation with UNESCO to show Valencia CF's backing to the Aldaia Ayuntamiento city council's initiative.

The aim is to obtain recognition for the over 200 years of history in handicrafts in the city, the home of the MUPA museum -the only museum in Spain dedicated to this artistic discipline.
